This course is designed to offer teachers a variety of creative techniques and strategies to implement within their own classroom. Teachers will obtain an introduction to language acquisition for second language learners. They will be able to recognize how languages are learned and how it relates to language acquisition theory and research to teaching and learning in the classroom.
Teachers will acquire a number of activities to practice the techniques of observation and research analysis obtained from the text. Additionally, teachers will explore different examples of case studies of language acquisition in students.
